  • Rationale: This is a significant jump due to the complexity and cost of international African travel. The fee covers enhanced benefits, planning for more complex trips, and significant negotiation power. It does not cover the full cost of international flights/accommodation, but provides substantial value toward them. However, in some cases of huge group discount deals, full cost of international flights/accommodation can be covered.

  • Example Trip Coverage (Silver): For a trip to Zanzibar, the subscription might cover 50% of flight ticket, airport transfers at the destination, basic or part of accommodation, 1-2 key excursions (e.g., a spice tour, a boat trip), and a welcome dinner. Members would pay separately for flights and accommodation differences at negotiated group rates.

  • Guaranteed Group Rates for Flights & Accommodation: Access to significantly discounted group rates on flights and hotels/lodges for all Silver trips. Members pay for their individual flights and accommodation differences at these reduced rates, unless the Club has paid in full all the costs.

  • Visa Guidance & Support: Detailed information, checklists, and personalized guidance on visa applications for target African countries. (Actual visa fees are paid by the member).

  • Proof of Sufficient Financial Support for Tourist Visa: To demonstrate sufficient financial support for a tourist visa, applicants typically need to provide bank statements, pay stubs, or other evidence of sufficient funds to cover their expenses during the visit, which is a huge setback for many. If someone else is sponsoring the trip, they'll need to provide a sponsorship letter and their own financial documents. The Club will help demonstrate sufficient financial support as far as legally possible. This is a huge benefit to members.
